Vital Dent share their experience with Polymita Technologies at the IV

On May 8 in Barcelona, the international company Clinicas Vital Dent presented a case study of Polymita
Collage Portal solution applied to their intranet portal.

Vital Dent were present at the latest Content Management Conference
organized by IDC. The CMS conference focused on the new trends in
Convergence and Web 2.0. Technological strategies.
The Case Study was presented as a collaboration
between Abraham Lozada, Systems Manager of Clinicas Vital Dent and Luis Ignacio Cortés,
Sales Director of Polymita Technologies.
The case study outlined how the Polymita CollagePortal® solution was
applied to the Intranet of Clinicas Vital Dent.
At the time of choosing Polymita Technologies as a Technological partner,
the objective of Clinicas Vital Dent was to
design an Intranet with content management and collaborative environment,
including automation and business process management. The chosen solution was
Polymita CollagePortal® selected to achieve
an integrated management of portals, contents and documents. The result has
been a centralized administration of multiple portals and its contents,
with more than 900 users.
Clinicas Vital Dent was founded In
1989 and at the present has more than 250 medical
clinics in Spain
and 1,700 professionals around the world.

Linkcare - Hospital Clinic already
applies Web 2.0 to health care sector thanks to Polymita Technologies

At the second IDC of CIT event the Web 2.0 for applications in the
health care sector, Linkcare – Hospital Clínic presented their experience in a project
for a management of chronic patients via telematics,
in which doctors, patients and health care centres collaborate with each
other thanks to the portals technology developed by Polymita.
William Lalinde,
Executive Director of Linkcare- Hospital Clinic,
presented their solutions aimed to reduce emergency room visits by chronic
patients through a web platform dedicated to monitoring of patients, which
was developed with Polymita Technologies Portal solutions based on Web 2.0 features.
It is a platform through which the patients can continuously
contact, monitor and interact with medical professionals who utilize web
and mobile technologies via Telematics.
Blanca Pons de Dalmases, Director
of Marketing and Communication, Polymita Technologies, presented information
about solutions for the health care sector, which are already in use at the
Hospital Sant Joan de Déu,
University Hospital of Vall d'Hebron,
Hospital Santa Creu and de Sant
Pau, Vital Dent Clinics or at Jacie.
Linkcare is an
application created for the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, as a support to
healthcare management that aims to introduce new ways to citizens to manage
their health, working with health care professionals. Linkcare
is also directed at professionals with the aim of providing useful
solutions in their professional lives.

Polymita collaborates ITworldEdu presentation to more than 50 IT companies in
Catalonia

ITworldEdu, the first major meeting towards excellence in educational
technology, will bring together over 300 professionals from the areas of technology
and education in Barcelona
in October.
More than 50 IT Catalan entrepreneur Companies
specialized in education have attended the presentation of ITworldEdu (ITWE), the first major meeting towards
excellence in technology related to education held in Barcelona from 29 to 31 October.
During the event, which took place within the
heart of Cercle per al Coneixement
- Barcelona Breakfast, Jordi Roca, Director of Ciutat Coneixement, said that
"ITWE is the Key summit of the future in which we firmly believe. The
combination of IT and education is a natural tendency of improvement,
development and qualification at the education sector. "
Within the context of the summit, ITWE will
analyze the current education-technology relationship and its future
trends. It will focus on the exhibition of real educational technology
cases and on the analysis of these experiences, to share needs and
solutions among various players in the sector. More than 300 professionals
from technological and education field will meet in ESADEFORUM from October
29 to 31.
