Polymita, a leading provider of software for business process management (BPM), today announced that IDC, a premier provider of global market intelligence, has named Polymita a Major Player for Business Process Platforms in its latest IDC MarketScape report, titled: "IDC MarketScape: Business Process Platforms 2011 Vendor Analysis”, that evaluates the top 17 vendor solutions.

The report, released annually by industry analysts at IDC, evaluates the relative capabilities of vendor solutions to support people-centric process applications based on the complexity, abilities and strategy of the solutions. Polymita was rated above average and received top scores across IDC’s product, customer and business assessments.
Polymita received a top score in its portfolio strategy demonstrating a broad view of both business and technical platforms.

In its report, IDC cites, according customer references, several strengths of the suite Polymita including the flexibility for changes during project execution, and good communication with the manufacturer; also noted that the customers selected Polymita BPM because its effective cost, its quick implementation cycle, and its Java-based architecture. The report also noted that Polymita customers were strongly positive about Polymita's service and support, and it received a top score in the customer reference category.

The report also added that among the key strengths of Polymita include a well-featured set of capabilities able to handle both case and task management.

IDC further noted that “Polymita has strong market momentum and gained market share in both 2009 and 2010 with BPMS revenue growth reaching nearly 40% in 2010.”
