Vital Dent Clinics improves its corporate intranet developed by Polymita Technologies

Vital Dent Clinics formed by a network of more than 400 clinics in Spain and with a presence in Portugal and Italy, has launched a technological development project. One of the main objectives of this plan was to improve the clinics´ internal processes. For this purpose, it has improved the intranet with the Polymita Business Suite platform.

Vital Dent Clinics has more than 400 clinics in Spanish territory, as well as presence both in Italy and Portugal. Established in 1989, the company specializes in comprehensive dental services and counts on over 1,700 medical professionals throughout Spain. The company’s main goal has always been investing at the most innovative technology in order to give the best service to the patient. Within the set of planned improvements in its Master plan included the creation of a new intranet as a key tool for internal communication, improving the contents and documents organization, with a collaborative environment of a global workforce.

The basic objectives of improving the Vital Dent´ intranet were better communication of benefits and services to clinics and the decrease execution time. The intranet required a merge of functions that are related to all Vital Dent departments, such as marketing, human resources, systems, sales, etc…... providing centralized information for them. Other requirements for the tool or web platform selection were categorized and centralized management of all information related to the delegations, with a flexible structure to create and integrate specific spaces in an independent manner and without programming.

The chosen solution
Polymita Technologies´ solution, Polymita Business Suite was chosen because it meets all the requirements and furthermore has great security, scalability and has large capacities for growth in functionality and integration.

Polymita Business Suite is a group of Web applications that allow an effective management and automation of processes (BPM-Suite ®) with the contents (ECM-Suite ®) and is offered through an advanced system of portals, intranets or extranets (CollagePortal ®) that are fully integrated with the applications already installed (EAI) via organizations´ WebServices, in a service-oriented architecture (SOA), making possible that an exceptional performance is a matter of design and organization rather than luck. The platform facilitates the creation and management of business processes, both financial and administrative as well as integrates data and processes with SAP and other systems such as ERP, CRM and databases.
