Technology companies that provide services to other companies in order to improve productive are booming. This is also the case of Polymita Technologies, a Catalan business software company that believes that it will be immune to the crisis and is committed to the company’s internationalization.

In 2009, Polymita plans to open an office in London and, in 2010, will do the same in Shanghai, Sao Paulo and Berlin.

«Our main goals are to open market and find local partners», comments Erik Brieva, the company's President. The company currently employs over sixty people across four offices; in Barcelona (headquarters), Madrid, New York and Buenos Aires, and is expected to triple 2008 sales compared to 2007 and reach 2.7 million Euros.

The good performance of the company, according Brieva, is due to «the big impact our product has in the companies’ productivity». The software designed by Polymita allows all company departments be aware of the different business processes, saving time and money. «In times of crisis, companies are even more concerned of becoming more effective and efficient which results that Polymita and their solution become a priority», highlights Brieva.
The company is a leader in records management, a useful application for law firms, governments and other organizations.

Polymita´s future plans are to improve their product in order «to help even more companies to optimize their processes», says Brieva.
