The Polytechnic University of Madrid has obtained, in the V University Management Excellence workshop held recently in Cadiz, the first prize for the " Follow-up process of the official titles: backbone of the Internal Quality Assurance Systems of the UPM centers". 
 

The award has been given for the automation and implementation of the Follow-up Process of the Official titles of UPM, linchpin of the SGIC continuous improvement cycle. This process has been conceived as a way to guarantee the quality of the official titles and, therefore, ensure continuous improvement required by the European standards established by the European Space of Higher Education (FEES) and current legislation.

The Process Management project undertaken in 2010 with Polymita BPM platform for the development and implementation of internal quality systems assurance, allow UPM to assure compliance with the AUDIT program and other regulations such as the Bologna Plan, the LAE or the standards of the FEES.

The University Management Excellence workshop, already consolidated in its fifth edition, aims the exchange of good practices for the improvement of the management of the universities. This year, they have the collaboration of the Club in Excellence Management, the Universities Forum of the Club in Excellence Management, the University of Murcia and the University of Burgos.
